The Best Way to Cope With Homsickness.

By looking at this angels .... what you may think my friends. First , my child i leave her when she was 1 and half or do my child let me kiss her she never seen me? Many many questions and that would be homesickness. Ha ha ha ha...

Next, what do my wife and children are doing now do they happy with out me on their side, without me on their breakfast. Do they eat what i am eating?

This picture is full of love and caring with a kiss of angels. And for us that would be the most important thing. Lost of love may wreak the family we work for the reason why we are here abroad. Doing all the things we need to do cook, clean our room and bedding's wash our clothes etc. And our partner to be mother and father for our child to tight their budget so that we can see something from our hard earned money. We have many things in our mind some are good all happy moments and many are bad things which i do not want to write. ha ha ha.

We should focus on good things from the time we met when we are singles to the time we received the big YES to our first night together to our wedding day to the birthday of our children's. By thinking this things we can treasure the moments with them we will be strong enough to stand against... vices, forbidden love once, one night stands etc.

And make yourself busy with something for me i like music learning what i supposed to learn when i was a child , guitar and keyboard for now i know how the music works and what are the notes and how to play the musics. Play the your songs for me its ALL MY LIFE by AMERICA.

I have flute, guitar and keyboard in my room i paste guitar keyboard foster in our walls. By having this no more homesickness i have something to do every time for now i have to divide time for everything time to update my blog site, to learn my new piano and guitar chord, and to sound my bamboo flute.

Every Fridays or Thursday i spend 2- 3 hour chatting with my wife to have an update of anything happen at home and with my child. And the best thing is i cope with homesickness positively. And i think it will be also work positively for you. And always pray to GOD he will give everything we need. God Bless!

The Fuel of the Future.

I live in the country of many natural resources The Beautiful Philipines! but i am working in the country of oil-Saudi Arabia. Many times i am thinking why we are here what if there was no saudi arabia what will be my job? And why we need to be here?

Now if you browse the internet the topic global warming, alternative fuel, environment etc. are very much in demand and it seems everybody is talking about. But me i made the research on how i can share my part on this senario of climate change. We need to account our carbon emision what they call our carbon footprint.

And based on what i have read we really can do much about it specially on waste disposal system the best thing to do is recycle. Everything can be recycle even our sewage system and kitchen waste can be a source of methane gas that can run our internal combustion engines and can be use for cooking our food and heating our homes.

In the Philippines we can use all the those potential energy source we are almost yearround with sunshining over us. We are sourounded by ocean and the wind that is flowing can be use to run our wind turbines like what we have seen in Ilocos province. The geothermal we have many volcanoes , the hydroelectric we have many water falls. And even if there will be no oil fuel in the Philippines we can live abundantly. We have everything Fossil Fuel will be scarce but sun will not stop shining for us.

And most of all we have abundant source of water and this water can be separated into hydrogen and oxygen through the process of electrolysis and oxygen is needed by all living things to breath and that hydrogen is a good fuel for our combustion engines in europe and america hydrogen car is already in the market. And we in the Philippines should start to use this form of fuel no more pollution and no more crisis in terms of fuel like what we suffer this days our economy now is driven by oil if we utelized this hydrogen fuel no more price increase driven by oil...

And i think it will be the time we can say that we are Tiger Economy if we are not affected by oil dollar economy. And by that time all of us OFW can safely stay in the Philippines for good.

I apeal to all Scientist and Academecian in the Philippines we should start this searching for the right technology to utellized this form of fuel NOW.

How to maintain long distance relationship an OFW point of view.

I am happily married person for 6 years now and to tell you frankly we know each other for only 7 years. We have 4 and half year old daughter and we lived together for only one and half years.

For me to maintain this relationship with very minimal misunderstading no quarell etc... are the following. I will share this to all of you because these are really true and works for us.

• Put God inbetween you. On the first day of our seminar before church marriage the lecturer told this to us and we made this for us. If both of you put God in between anyone of you will not do bad or cheat your partner. And you know that God is watching both of you.
• Totally accept each other and be ready to changed yourself if needed. We hear this many times " if you behave like this when we are boyfriends i will not marry you." Real love... loves the person both good and bad. There was no perfect person as in PERFECT! on your way there will be contradicting times for you but we should accept this and we should talk about it we should find the common place... we know that our wifewill be angry if we are always going to the beerhouse why do this always... and if you know that it was together with the jobs of you husband why be angry...
• Don't anticipate ... Talk about it... Ask if you have worries talk about it heart to heart. When We say yes on our weeding day its is an obligation and big RESPONSABILITY... We should make our partner happy. Constant communication is the key GOOD COMMUNICATION NOT A QUARREL.
• Audit yourself everyday. Did you do anything for this day to hurt or angry your partner? Try to do everything for happiness and contentment of your partner.
• And most of all HAVE TIME FOR EACH OTHER. Even we are far away try to have at least 30 minutes and have an effort to talk even on telephone or internet. Have your sexiness and humor as partner specially you husband and wife always there. A simple SMS message which cost you SR.0.45 in Saudi arabia and 1 peso in the Philippines it has a big impact to tell each other that you were ther for each other a simple i love you is enough.

This is my secret to have a happy family life and you for i have alredy plans for our silver and golden wedding aniversarry. God Bless you all wishing everybody a HAPPY NEW YEAR and A HAPPY FAMILY LIFE!

New Year's Day Away from Home.

This is already my 4th new year away from home, but still i felt the loneliness other people feel. But we need to be happy and look at life on the positive sides.

Last January 01 of 2005 the only new year i spend with my loving wife and only daughter Shekinah for our 6years as a family. That was a happy celebration... We have received christmas package from my previous company. I have christmas bonus and mostly i am with my family.

But then i have great problems; my child needs recontructive surgery for her clef lip and pallate; my housing loan arrears soar to 11 months, my ATM is already taken as collateral for cash loans. I have no even centavo savings on my account. Its been a time of worries for me.

The following months my child really needs to undergo surgery because she is already 1 year old and learning to speak. I call DSWD I ask everyone who can help me and God is Greate and very much helpful to me i learn about PBM or Philippine Band of Mercy one foundation who help those with clef lip patient like my child. And 2 times surgery of my child was finished.

And now after 4 years.... i spent christmas and new years away from them but the good thing is at least i have updated the payment for my housing loan. I have no loans like before. Sometimes i can give some amount of money for my parents and brother. My wife can buy something for our dear home. And most of all my wife now is not bothered by many bill which before she don't know how to be paid.

I cannot give everything for my child because my salary as maintenance personnel is not that much. But she has all the basic necesities in life food, good house, dresses. Thats may not be enough but just fine unlike other people who has no prepared food for every day.

New years day away from them is really lonely but thats the reality of life a life of poor peoples. What we are now is what our parents did so we have the choice now of what our chilrens life would be in the future...

It is ok to spend 3 more new years away from them but i have enough to send my kids to school and give her the necesities for life.
